No Cavity Club for Kids

‘No Cavity Club’ is for all patients aged 2-12 years of age who have no decay present at their routine dental exam.

With parents permission, the child’s name is put into a draw. At the end of the month one random name will be drawn and that child will be our ‘No Cavity Club’ winner

We specialise in looking after both adult and children’s dental care. Malahide Dental Care is active in Malahide promoting healthy teeth and gums. As committed professionals have always sought to educate children on the best way of having to avoid unnecessary visits to the dentist. As a dental surgery we couldn’t be more central. Situated at New Street below Gibneys bar just a few metres from the crossroads and the many fine shops and boutiques that make Malahide such a special place. EASY PARKING

On street parking is available on New Street and on Strand Street . There is also a large car park in the train station which is a short distance away from the surgery.

Dr. Roisín Corkery

Continuing the good work in Malahide

Róisín is originally from Cork, and qualified as a dentist from Trinity College Dublin in 1997. During her time in Trinity College she was lucky enough to take part in the Erasmus scheme and studied at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden and was also involved in the dental overseas voluntary elective and visited Caracas Dental hospital in Venezuela.

WIDE EXPERIENCE

After qualifying, Róisín moved to England and took up a position at David Oram’s dental practice in Carshalton, Surrey. There she worked with a large dental team for nearly eleven years and thoroughly enjoyed it, while gaining extensive knowledge in general practice.

Róisín moved back to Dublin in 2008 and worked for a number of years in Kilbarrack. Róisín loves being a dentist in Malahide so much so that she acquired Dr. John Murphy’s excellent dental practice in 2011. She has 4 children all attending schools in Malahide maybe one of which could follow her into dentistry.

SHOWJUMPING

Horses and showjumping have always been a huge part of Róisín’s life so much so that she competed internationally. Her showjumping highlights are:

European championships France ’87
World Student games Germany ’95
Awarded Trinity Pinks ’96 (for representing her university at international competition)
Jumping on the European circuit with her horse “Gold Crown” 1999-2006

She was featured in an article “Dentistry’s Sporting lives” in the journal of the Irish Dental Association.
